RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE OFFICER
  • To prepare monthly payroll

  • Monthly preparation and filing of VAT and TDS

  • Prepare and overseeing reconciliation of daily cash transfers and finance report

  • Preparing of Management Accounts/Financial Accounts

  • Filing of monthly and annual returns to Mauritius Revenue Authority

  • Monitoring accounting entries in Quickbook–ensuring sales, payout, bank, payroll and VAT are correctly recorded.

  • Proven ability to deal with confidential matters and can work under pressure.8.Perform other cognate duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • ACCA level 2 minimum/Accounting Degree

  • At least 3 years of work experience in the Finance or Accounting Sector& Administration sector.

  • IT Proficient: MS Office Software Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Accounting software
