FINANCE ANALYST Professional

• Project finance advisory: Designing and executing the most suitable financing for projects.

• Transaction advisory: Advising clients and negotiating on their behalf with lenders and investors to maximise value creation.

• Financial modelling: Structuring and developing best in class financial models to support both corporate and project finance transactions.

• Strategic advisory: Advising on project development, project structuring and accessing finance in order to prepare for investment as well as valuing projects, ensuring delivery, profitability, and sustainability.

The company started in London, UK in 2019 and is now located at Bain Boeuf in the North of Mauritius.

As a small and growing firm, we are looking to recruit a talented Finance Analyst to join our meritocratic, challenging and rewarding environment. A high degree of a business partnership, entrepreneurial spirit and a learning mindset will be critical in this 'start-up like' and highly autonomous environment as the successful candidate will be reporting directly to and working with the Founder and Director herself.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build and review financial models to support in the fundraising efforts.

• Creating and reviewing investor pitches and business plans.

• Conducting research to identify suitable business opportunities/tenders.

• Connections/introductions to investors as well as negotiating with said investors on the fundraisings.

• Setting up due diligence data rooms and assist in any other tasks required for a successful fundraising.

• Contribute to research articles, write and publish blogs and tutorials.

• Monthly finance and accounting processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years professional experience as a Finance Analyst or a similar function; however, newly qualified with exceptional communication skills and excellent academic record will be considered.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Accounting / Chartered or Certified Accountant. Degrees in Economics and Finance will be considered provided the candidate has sufficient knowledge of accounting.

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required and experience of Visual Basic, Python, C++ would be helpful, although not essential.

• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint are required, and experience of QuickBooks or other accounting software would be helpful.

• Fluency in English and French.
