ACCOUNTS & AUDIT ASSISTANT Professional

Mauritius-based Meridian Group operates across Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant with experience in auditing to assist in finance department for its Mauritius based team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Auditing experience is required.

• Well versed of IFRS.

• Minimum qualifications: degree or ACCA student.

• 3 years experience in the field.

YOUR MISSION:

• Communicate/Evaluate/Assessment new IFRS impact AFS.

• Assisting Tax computation for Mauritius entities.

• Assist in providing documents/info/explanation for audit purpose.

• Clear and assist auditor to clear queries with support.

• Assist in detail review all Pack and AFS.

• Follow up Auditors for smooth conclusion of audit.

• Finalization of AFS for signature and filling with FSC.

• Validation of completeness and accuracy of financial data for month end closure

• Prepare and compile Audit BS file month end closure for companies

• All other adhoc duties both finance &logistics team.
