KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategy & Planning :
Act as primary liaison for the Group via regular written and in-person communications with the entities stakeholders
Participate in Technology governance processes definition of the cluster
Lead IT operational planning and projects and organize and negotiate the allocation of IT external resources
Oversee all reports and documentation related to network and systems operations
Acquisition & Deployment:
Assist the different entities in the Technology budgets
Oversee strategic relationships between the entities and external entities including the administration of vendor and service agreements
Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale
Develop, promote and oversee strategic relationships between the entities of the Group and external entities including vendors
Analyse and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for technology spending and the group's initiatives
Manage IT assets through their life cycle to make sure that they deliver value at optimal cost, remain reliable/available, are accounted for and physically protected
Operational Management:
Ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance by managing all procedures related to identification, prioritization and resolution of incidents, including the monitoring, tracking and contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, handson support to end users when necessary
Develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to establish problem resolution expectations and timeframes
Develop policies and procedures that outline how problems are identified, documented, assigned and corrected
Identify, recommend, develop and implement end user training programs to increase computer literacy and self-sufficiency
Oversight over operational Technology, monitoring the IT infrastructure and network (including on-premise and cloud) and facilities management
Manage all IT system changes in a controlled manner (release management), including standard changes and emergency maintenance relating to business processes, applications and infrastructure
Enable fast and reliable delivery of change to the business and mitigate the risk of negatively impacting the stability of the changed environment
Manage IT-related services provided by all suppliers, including the selection of suppliers, management of relationships, management of contracts, and reviewing and monitoring of supplier performance
Negotiate and secure cost-effective services or solutions from Vendors, Service Providers and Suppliers
Ensure that adequate and sufficient IT-related capabilities, including people, process and technology, are available to support business objectives effectively at optimal cost
Follow-up the performance of IT services and systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements
Project coordination:
Coordinate technology projects in alignment with the business strategy and requirements. Organize and communicate details related to specific assignments or tasks while serving as an interface between team members and managers
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Information Technology or any equivalent qualification
5 years’ experience in a similar job role
ITIL and/or PMP certification will constitute an advantage
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating business cases, budgets, and so on
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
Customer service orientation
Ability to work under pressure and passionate to take challenges
Self-motivated and proactive to ensure projects are completed within delay
