  • Minimum Under Graduate degree preferably in HR or Human Sciences. A Master would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role, experience in the BPO financial industry will be beneficial.
  • Is at ease with Microsoft office tools.

  • Lead and manage the overall the HR function and provide high quality HR services within the business.
  • Applies HR best practices to provide a people-oriented, values driven culture that emphasizes performance, empowerment, quality and advancement of the team members.
  • Define yearly HR strategy and action plans in line with the objectives of the company and ambition of the group.
  • Continually assess, develops and propose creative staff retention plans in line with the strategy of the company and the group.
  • Review, advice and implement optimal compensation and benefits strategy ensuring that pay and benefits structure have a fair level of competitiveness on the labour market.
  • Responsible for the HR budget management including budget proposition, review and monthly monitoring.
  • Work closely with the management and Group HR on employee engagement programmes including survey participation and defining adaptable and realistic action plans.
  • Promote an HR culture which is geared towards ‘management de proximite’ and which goes beyond an ‘open door policy’.
  • Develops, implements and executes consistent and effective hiring practices necessary to attract, recruit and select talent to meet the organisation’s needs.
  • Devise and implement effective branding strategy thereby marketing the company as an employer of choice.
  • Responsible for the performance of the training unit of the company and ensure that trainings conducted are in line with the strategy of the company.
  • Responsible for talent management and mentoring activities including assessment of staff skills within the organisation against specified competencies, identifying skills gaps and putting in place staff development programmes that address such gaps.
  • Educate and positively influence Managers on adopting relevant HR strategy to motivate and retain the team members.

  • Act as an active and exemplary management member, promoting the values of company and ready to participate in different projects.

  • Advise management on HR strategy, coach them and other employees on HR services and practices.

  • Guide and support managers on all employee related issues.

  • Assess and ensure clear and concise HR communication across the company.

  • Ensure that all matters included in the responsibilities of the function are processed in compliance with the local laws and group policy.

  • Advice the management on all labour law changes and its impact on the company.

  • Ensure that all disciplinary issues are handled in a fair manner and in line with applicable laws.

  • Monitor the performance management system and ensure that performance objectives are set that reflect the company’s performance goals and keep staff motivated while achieving the group objectives.

  • Responsible to gather all payroll related information and submit to the finance department for timely payroll processing.

  • Ensure that all local and group reporting are done within set deadlines.

  • Develop, implement and communicate up to date HR procedures ensuring compliance with the law, group policy and strategy of the company and male recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in HR audits as may be required.

  • Ensure the effective process and follow up of occupation permit, work and residence permit for expatriates.

  • Responsible for all health and safety matters of the company.

  • Responsible for the conduct of employee welfare activities to promote the ‘fun and well being culture’ in the company.

  • Responsible for the reception and admin unit, including managing office premises thereby ensuring high quality services internally and externally.

  • Liaise and collaborate with external bodies and agencies.
