When the Mini Club Manager is absent, the Mini Club Assistant needs to:
Supervise, train, and evaluate Mini Club staff.
Educate staff as to emergency action plans and handling problem situations o Provide a “safe” environment for activities.
Proper program preparation and operation items including short term care of infants, toddlers, and youth in the babysitting room, leading the daily schedule of activities, and planning, organizing, and implementing all functions of the babysitting room within the community centre.
Complete, as necessary, daily reports, incident reports, accident reports etc.
Coordinating necessary paperwork and procedures for checking in and out, emergency medical forms, and daily procedures.
Perform Mini Club maintenance including the cleaning, inventory, and storage of all equipment/toys.
Create and deliver a daytime and evening activity programme for children in our variety of children’s clubs aged from 3 – 12 yrs.
Create a child friendly environment considering Health and Safety requirements.
Organise appropriate snacks and meals for the children.
Keep the clubrooms, equipment, and toys clean, well maintained, and sterilized where appropriate.
Take personal responsibility for the security of equipment and the satisfactory appearance of the Club.
Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all times. Be prepared to work on odd shifts, Sundays & Public Holidays.
Personal Qualities: Organisational Skills, Planning and good communication.
Experience: 2 years.
Additional Skill required: Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint), numerical skills and basic knowledge of Hotel Operations.
