Your duties will be as follows :

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.

  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.

  • Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs.

  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities.

  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.

  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff.

  • Rectify arising problems or complaints.

  • Give prepared plates the “final touch”.

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in similar posts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: word, excel and outlook as a minimum.

  • Warm, welcoming and pleasant outgoing personality.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated.

  • Organizational, Planning and Coaching Skills.

  • Proactive and act with integrity at all times.

  • The hands-on approach to operational aspects.

  • Sharp food cost management.

  • Process-oriented.

  • Close guest satisfaction monitoring based on KPIs.
