Your duties will be as follows :
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs.
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities.
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
Recruit and manage kitchen staff.
Rectify arising problems or complaints.
Give prepared plates the “final touch”.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3 years’ experience in similar posts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: word, excel and outlook as a minimum.
Warm, welcoming and pleasant outgoing personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated.
Organizational, Planning and Coaching Skills.
Proactive and act with integrity at all times.
The hands-on approach to operational aspects.
Sharp food cost management.
Process-oriented.
Close guest satisfaction monitoring based on KPIs.
