Reporting to the Site Director, you will be responsible for the below:
To process payroll monthly including wages and overtime payments calculations and recording of payroll deductions.
To review payroll before finalizing to ensure accuracy.
To prepare and transfer payroll checks.
To prepare and transmit direct deposits.
To generate and verifies payroll reports out of payroll system.
To prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions.
To reconcile quarter-end and year-end reports.
To keep up to date on all labour laws anfd regulations related to employment and employee's relations.
To prepare and issue payslips.
To ensure that confidentiality is being maintained by the Payroll/ HR Dept and perform proper monitoring to ensure that all confidential documents and data are under close control.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in accounting/finance related activities.
Proficient in MS Word & MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot table.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Solid knowledge of labour laws.
